Lodging: Homewood Suites, Scarborough, ME (includes Shuttle collection from the airport)
Food: Sebago Brewing Co.
I arrived at the hotel in the late afternoon in time for the manager’s reception, which consisted of meatloaf, baked potatoes, over-cooked green beans, and a salad bar. The meatloaf was more like Salisbury Steak, and the available beer and wine was for sale. We were staying at a Homewood Suites, so this was a bit odd.
Mom arrived in time for the belated happy hour at the brewhouse in front of the hotel, Sebago Brewing Co. The food and service was fine; we particularly appreciated the $2 pints (re-emergence of Happy Hour at 10 PM).
Hi! I started this blog after driving across the Trans-Labrador Highway in a Dodge Charger. A LOT of lessons were learned. Today, it's a mix of travels and tales (sometimes tails) along with all the lessons learned on the journey.
